Following the release of the Gold American Eagle and the Gold Proof Eagle, the Silver Eagle was released, and affords collectors of any budget a chance to collect this most famous of American bullion series. The U.S. Mint’s American Eagle series has been released every year since 1986, although all versions are not produced every year.

The Gold Eagle is undeniably a beloved and celebrated edition of this series, but the Silver Eagle has earned its own high following for its purity, the way the silver sets off the stunning image, and for its affordability. The Silver Eagle is produced only in a one troy ounce size, in Proof and Uncirculated conditions.
