About Asahi Refining

Asahi Assayers and Refiners is one of the few, new private mints, although their refinery business is not so new. The company was formed in 2015 when the Japanese Corporation – Asahi Holdings – purchased the gold and silver facilities of Johnson Matthey located in USA and Canada. Asahi Holdings was established in 1952, being particularly specialized in refining rare precious metals, like palladium and platinum, as well as in treatment and detoxification of industrial and hazardous wastes. Johnson Matthey is a prestigious old mint, established back in 1817 and having a 200-year history of refining and minting, being well-known by investors and collectors due to their high-quality bullion products. Since the foundation of the new company, its qualified artisans focused on providing superior bullion products, like their highly-praised Asahi Gold Bars, which are accredited by LBMA and COMEX. For this reason, Asahi Gold Bars are an excellent investment choice to safeguard your savings.

The Asahi Gold Bars: Sizes and Designs

Asahi Ltd. produces both minted and cast gold bars. Cast Asahi Gold Bars are available in four sizes, 1 kg, 400 oz., 100 oz. and 10 oz. struck from .9999 pure gold or .9950 fine gold, by using traditional refining processes. Bars produced in this fashion are expertly crafted using gold which has been heated to its melting point, poured into the mold and left to cool. Then, on the obverse side of the bars is stamped the company’s name, weight, and purity of the bar, as well as the unique serial number of the bar. The reverse side is intentionally left blank to ensure the bars’ rustic appearance and matte finish, beloved by passionate investors. The first minted Asahi Gold Bar was produced of 1 troy ounce of .9999 pure gold and displays the Asahi Logo and name on the obverse side, along with purity, weight, and unique serial number inscriptions. On the reverse side of the bar is showcased a diagonally repeating pattern of the company’s logo. These bars are eligible for your Precious Metals IRA-Account and are offered by the mint in sealed plastic cards which preserve the bar’s flawless condition.
