Uncirculated Burnished Gold Eagle | Annual Mintage

Bullion Exchanges prides itself on keeping its customers up to date with the most important information on bullion. In 1985, the passage of the Gold Bullion Coin Act led to the minting of gold bullion. Take a look at this heatmap for gold bullion mintage figures from 1986 through today.

The American Eagle series by the U.S. Mint has garnered incredibly high demand each year since its first release in 1986. The Uncirculated (Burnished) Eagle would not follow until 2006, and has only had nine annual releases in its one ounce size since that time. Its smaller sizes of ½ ounce, ¼ ounce, and 1/10 ounce have only had three releases. For that reason and for its stunning Uncirculated condition, this version of the American mintage classic can draw even higher demand than its counterparts.

This graphic brings you the specific mintage figures every year for all variations of each coin. Armed with this information, you can better understand higher premiums for certain releases and ensure your ability to buy coins at the most competitive rates.
