The Invention of the Light Bulb

In 1809, Humphry Davy was there to demonstrate the first electric lamp over 10,000 lumens. He would later create the miner’s safety lamp. By 1841, arc-lighting was in effect. This was the first commercially viable light bulb. It was in the file by 1879.
