Bi-Metallic Coins Now In Stock!

Bullion Exchanges is excited to introduce these brand new, special, bi-metallic coins struck by Precious Metal Collectors. These coins are not just silver coins, they are also filled with copper between two layers of silver. These bi-metallic coins feature designs from renowned historical people to mythological figures from Asian culture. Furthermore, all their new releases come with a special thematic mint-issued box and a Certificate of Authenticity.

Bi-Metal Plus

These bi-metallic coins were struck with a special process called Bi-Metal Plus. This process entails combining copper and silver for a massive and dense coin with high value. Specifically, .999 copper makes up a filling between two layers of .999 pure silver. The bi-metallic coin is completed with a beautiful, antique finish. The result is a high-relief coin with a gorgeous design. Therefore, these bi-metallic coins are extremely eye-catching and one-of-a-kind. They also have extremely low mintage counts and are Niue legal tender, making these coins incredible gifts or an eye-grabbing piece for your own collection.

Vlad the Impaler Coin

Vlad III of Romania was a Wallachian Prince who earned the name Vlad the Impaler for his ruthless military operations. He has a long historical legacy that spans from textbooks to fiction. Now, Vlad is now featured on only 500 bi-metallic coins The practice that coined his name ‘Vlad the Impaler’ was literally how he impaled his enemies while they were still alive. Consequently, this made his enemies suffer a slow and painful death. Vlad did this to specifically symbolize how he flaunted his victories and to scare others from attacking him and his territories. Later, rumors arose about Vlad, saying that he drank the blood of his enemies. After his death, this inspired the gothic novel Dracula, extending Vlad’s influence from beyond the grave.  Although he is known as a cruel leader, his influence hindered the Ottoman conquest of Europe for a time. Also, this coin comes with a transparent acrylic card painted with a ‘bloody’ silhouette. When you layer this over the coin, it further emphasizes Vlad the Impaler’s bloody history. Add some interesting history to your coin collection with a ‘bloody’ Vlad the Impaler coin!

Also, history remembers how he suffered severely from mental illness. Despite his suffering, Van Gogh’s perception of the world helped him complete truly remarkable works of art. This includes his Starry Night and Cafe Terrace at Night masterpieces. Azure Dragon Coin

Although somewhat lesser-known in the Western world, the famed Azure Dragon graces the reverse of this spectacular coin. The Azure Dragon is one of the Four Auspicious Beasts. Specifically, these beasts are guardians of the four cardinal directions in China. All four beasts are the Azure Dragon of the East, Vermillion Bird of the South, the White Tiger of the West, and the Black Turtle of the North. In Ancient China, early astrologers identified these beasts based on their interpretations of the constellations. Additionally, they assigned each guardian to a color and 4/5 of the main elements. First, this series begins with the Azure Dragon named Qing Long. Specifically, the Azure Dragon is believed to guard the East. Also, the Azure Dragon represents not only the blue-grey soil of the watery East, but also the season of spring and element of wood.  China honors the dragon as a symbol of wealth and good fortune. Therefore, this bi-metallic coin is a perfect way to honor the beautiful complexity of Chinese mythology.

Perhaps one of the most intricate new bi-metallic coin releases, this Goddess of Mercy coin is the first of the Eight Protectors series. The Eight Protectors feature eight Buddhist deities who protect the 12 zodiac animals associated with the people born in that animal year. Aligned with the Chinese Zodiac, only 199 bi-metallic coins showcase the guardian of the Year of the Rat. The Rat begins the 12-animal cycle, so 2020 begins this wonderful zodiac protector series.  Most notably, the Goddess of Mercy with One Thousand Hands protects the Rat zodiac animal. Additionally, people also pray to her for relief of illness and eye issues including blindness. In her many hands, she holds tools of salvation that symbolize her diverse power. Monkey King Coin

This Monkey King coin is the third and final release for the Chinese Gods Mythology series. These 500 bi-metallic coins highlight the particular myth of the Monkey King, Sun Wukong, as he fought against Erlang Shen. Erlang Shen went after the Monkey King trickster god for destroying Mother Queen’s peach party and 100,000 divine soldiers. Peaches are not just simple fruit in Chinese myth. These particular peaches grant immortality, which makes the Monkey King’s act especially heinous. This bi-metallic coin thus alludes to the famous battle between the Monkey King and Erlang Shen that resulted in the Monkey King’s capture. Concretely, this coin captures the intensity of their 300 round battle through their angered faces and armor. Also, lightning strikes behind them, which further adds to the intensity of the fight.

Hector of Troy Coins

The bimetallic coins that feature Hector of Troy mark another new series referred to as the Nine Worthies. This new coin series derives its name and characters from the book The Vows of the Peacock by Jacques de Longuyon. Three major groups of people emerged in his classification of astounding individuals who demonstrate chivalrous ideals. The three main groups of people include the Pagan, Christian, and Jewish groups. Hector of Troy premiers this collection as the first Pagan figure in this series.  Hector of Troy was the Champion and Prince of Troy. He defended his city in the Trojan War until his legendary death. Hector fell nobly to Achilles in battle as he defended his honor and his wife and child. Homer described him as a noble and virtuous warrior who preferred peace to battle.
