History:
American Eagle Gold Bullion Coins were released in 1986 after the Gold Bullion Act of 1985. These coins are authorized by the U.S. Government and guaranteed by U.S. Mint for their weight, content, and purity. The American Eagle Gold coins come in four sizes One Ounce, Half Ounce, Quarter Ounce, One-Tenth Ounce and with the denomination $50, $25, $10, and $5 respectively. 2016 marks the 30th anniversary of the American Gold Eagle bullion coin program.
