History:

United States Mint first minted the American Eagle Gold Bullion Coins in 1986. It is legal-tender bullion of the United States Mint. American Eagle Gold coin is minted every year in four different sizes; 1 oz, ½ oz, ¼ oz, and 1/10^th oz.
