The fox is a creature that does not always evoke a positive connotation. However, Lewis’ experience was nothing short of awe-inspiring. When he used to snowboard, he would cross paths with this red fox nearly every day he visited his family’s cabin. Whenever they locked eyes, he felt powerful energy that he described as “electric.” Having these short moments with the fox made him feel thankful for how nature is so far removed from society, but we are all still connected on this planet. Whenever he sees a fox now, he wonders about the red fox living in the mountains braving the winters, and he considers the interconnectedness of life, spiritually. He said, “We are all sharing this life, this energy, this electricity… and I'm grateful for those times when I get stopped in my tracks long enough to savor it.”

The obverse of this one-ounce silver coin Electric Fox coin displays the portrait of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II styled by Ian Rank Broadley. The Queen looks to the right of the coin while wearing her royal tiara and earrings. The background displays a negative image from the front of the furry fox, but it is not colorized.

The reverse displays the fully colorized illustration of the Electric Fox, as designed by Phil Lewis. The red fox has vibrant orange eyes and a geometric symbol between its eyes to symbolize the spiritual energy of the animal. Similarly, the ears are decorated with bright coloring to continue the spiritual theme.
