2021-P 5 oz Silver ATB Alabama Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site Coin PCGS SP 70 FS

The US Mint’s “America the Beautiful Series” has now come to an end, but Bullion Exchanges is thrilled to offer the grand final release in graded condition! The 2021-P 5 oz Silver ATB Alabama Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site Coin PCGS SP 70 FS is now for sale in our store. Although the face value of $0.25 appears on the coin, its actual value is much higher because it is made of 5 troy ounces of .999 fine silver. PCGS also gave this coin a perfect grade of SP 70, along with a “First Strike” label. This label indicates that the coin was received for grading within the first 30 days of its official release. Further enriching this coin’s collectibility, the uncirculated finish and special Philadelphia “P” mintmark appear on the obverse. Each wonderful airmen coin is individually sealed inside the official PCGS holder to ensure its authenticity. However, the US Mint only made 20,000 total of these limited-mintage ATB coins, so don’t miss out! Order the SP 702021-P 5 oz Silver Alabama Tuskegee Airmen Coin now before we sell out.

Chances for African Americans to participate in the U.S. military were historically very limited. African American soldiers had to battle racial discrimination, general exclusion, and limiting quotas. After caving in to pressure, the US Air Force finally decided to train a small number of African American pilot cadets at Tuskegee University—primarily at Moton Field in Alabama. The enormous success experienced by the Tuskegee Airmen proved to the public that African Americans could become effective military leaders and pilots when given the chance.
