The 2020 Darth Vader Chibi Silver Coin marks the fourth release from the New Zealand Mint’s Chibi Coin Collection. Darth Vader, born as Anakin Skywalker, is known as the first major villain in the original Star Wars trilogy (Episodes 4-6). Despite a prophecy claiming he would bring balance to the Force, Anakin was manipulated into joining the dark side and soon took on the moniker “Darth Vader” as a newly established Sith Lord. Darth Vader’s character arc is so memorable that he was listed as the third greatest movie villain in cinematic history for the 20th Century.
