1921 Morgan Silver Dollar BU
The Morgan Dollars are a popular US legal tender issue that was in circulation from 1878 to 1921. The Morgan Dollars had ceased production by 1904. They were minted for a whopping 26 years starting in 1878 before they came to an end in 1904. The Morgan Dollar is the first coin that broke the traditional neoclassical design routine on the American coinage and started actually depicting American women on the coinage. More than 21 million of these coins were minted before it was replaced in the same year by Peace Dollar. Thus 1921 is a special issue as it was minted after a commendable gap of 17 years.
The large size of the coin accompanied by its beautiful design and 90% silver content makes it an extremely popular coin for collection as well as investment.

- Obverse: Left facing portrait of Lady Liberty wearing a Liberty Cap with word "LIBERTY" inscribed on the ribbon. The cap is decorated with two heads of wheat and two cotton blossoms. 13 Stars, "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and Year of Mintage encircle the main device. A design by George T. Morgan.
- Reverse: Features a George T. Morgan design of a majestic bald eagle with outstretched wings clutching an olive branch and arrows in its talons to symbolize peace and preparedness. Inscriptions - "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "ONE DOLLAR," "IN GOD WE TRUST."
