Wolf Silver Coin - Predator Series RMC
The latest predator coming out of the great white north is the Canadian Silver Wolf as part of the RCM’s Predator Series.
This series started in 2016 and celebrates Canada’s native fauna. The first animal to be released in this series was the Cougar, followed by last year’s Lynx.
Both one-ounce silver coins enjoyed an anticipated release and set an expectation and anticipation amongst new fans. Society has always seen the wolf as a vicious predator and an enemy to humanity.
For this reason, we portrayed wolves as villains who, through their cunning and manipulation, bring doom upon everyone whom they encounter. The wolf has also been a symbol of freedom and the untamed wilderness.
Indeed, wolves provide humans with one of the last links to the times when we lived amongst them and hunted our own prey. Nowadays, wolves are viewed as a dominant force. As they act like an equalizer to specific fauna like deer and provide a natural boon to biodiversity.
This year’s release features a leaping gray wolf on the reverse of the coin. Like in past years, the coin will have a radial lines finish and also have a micro-engraved maple leaf. As a result, the coin will have extra security and give you peace of mind knowing that your coin is 100% authentic.
Coin-Features:
- Made from .9999 fine silver with a weight of 1 troy oz
- Brilliant Uncirculated Condition
- Micro-laser engraved Maple Leaf security mark
- Individual coins ship in flips, lots of 25 ship in mint-issued rolls, lots of 500 ship in mint-issued monster boxes
- Face value - $5 (CAN)

Moreover, in the production of this coin RCM was using a so-called "Mintshield" technology.
Unfortunately, milk spots occur naturally and do not detract from the value of the coin. However, their presence does change the aesthetics of the coin. To learn more about MintShield, click here.
Bullion Exchanges is proud to celebrate the wild with this upcoming release from the Royal Canadian Mint.
