0The Royal Canadian Mint announces the official release date of the newest collectibles in the best-selling and highly awaited coin series - the 2017 gold and silver Maple Leafs. Each 2017 Gold Maple Leaf coin is 99.99% pure gold. They come in five sizes: 1/20 oz. ($1 CAD), 1/10 oz. ($5 CAD), ¼ oz. ($10 CAD), ½ oz. ($20 CAD) and 1 oz. ($50 CAD). The mint produces the 2017 Silver Maple Leaf from 99.99% fine silver. It comes in only one weight option: 1 oz. with a $ CAD face value.
