Bullion Exchanges presents the 2026 (P) President Donald J. Trump July 4th Privy $1 Coin PCGS MS 67 FDOI (Flag). This Philadelphia Mint dollar carries the small two-line “JULY 4th” privy on the obverse, to the left of the portrait above the star — a field that stays blank on the regular 2026 issue. PCGS graded it Mint State 67 First Day of Issue and encapsulated it with the Flag label. Joseph Menna’s portrait of President Donald J. Trump, based on an official White House photograph by Daniel Torok, appears with “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and “1776 ~ 2026.” The reverse uses Frank Gasparro’s Presidential Seal, with “250” on the shield plus “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” and “ONE DOLLAR.”
The July 4th privy variety was first reported before the public launch, when a marked coin was found in a roll. The Mint struck these Independence Day pieces and mixed them into the regular Semiquincentennial $1 release instead of selling them as a separate product. That hidden mark gives the coin extra collector interest beyond the standard anniversary dollar.
The FDOI label is awarded to coins that are received by the grading service within a specified timeframe, usually within 24 hours of the coin’s release.
