Sculptor Miley Busiek designed this stunning relief to depict the American family. Before this design, most American coins depicted eagles on their own. This reverse also includes the inscriptions “1/2 OZ Fine Gold-5 Dollars,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “IN GOD WE TRUST” and “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.”
