$100 Face Value Bag - 100 Coins - 1878-1921 Morgan Silver Dollar Cull (Random Year)
The Morgan Silver Dollar is a very special coin as it features Lady Liberty with a very unique appearance. While the coins in this bag may have wear and other condition problems, this only adds to their historical and vintage appearance!
On the obverse of the Morgan Silver Dollar, Lady Liberty is depicted with an American appearance instead of the usual Greek Style. To honor America's agricultural history the cap she wears looks to be made of wheat and cotton with the word LIBERTY written across. The inscriptions surrounding her image include E PLURIBUS and the year along with thirteen stars to symbolize the thirteen original colonies.
The reverse features an elegant eagle with beautifully designed feathers. He holds an olive branch and a bundle of arrows symbolizing a desire for peace and readiness to defend America respectively. Above this creature is the inscription "IN GOD WE TRUST" and below we find a traditional American wreath. Encircling the rim are the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "ONE DOLLAR."
Each bag contains one hundred 90% silver U.S. coins for a total of $100 face value of Morgan Silver dollars, chosen randomly from 1878-1921, totaling approximately 77.34 troy oz of fine silver.
