These coins were minted at the Paris Mint and follow the same specifications as other classic 20 Franc gold coins produced under the Latin Monetary Union standard, making them widely recognized among collectors and investors. During this period, Tunisia was part of the French Protectorate, and its coinage reflected strong French monetary influence while preserving local cultural identity.
