Since 1986, when the US Mint first introduced the American Eagle Bullion Coin Series, collectors and investors worldwide have been including Gold, Silver, Platinum, and Palladium Eagles in their portfolios. The Gold American Eagle is the official bullion coin of the United States, and it features universal American symbols such as the American Eagle, Lady Liberty, and the US Capitol.
