This superb series was produced by the Perth Mint in 2007. Silver Koala Series quickly became one of the most popular collections in the world during its first decade of production.

Its annually changing reverse design combined with the limited mintage. Pure silver content make this coin a great addition to any precious metals portfolio!

The coin’s obverse bears a right-profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II created by Ian Rank-Broadley in 1998. The Queen’s effigy appears on all Australian coinage and it has been part of the coin’s design since she ascended to the British throne in 1952.

The coin’s reverse depicts an image of one of the most beloved animals in the world - the Koala, Australia’s cuddliest marsupial. The design of the koala presented on the coin's reverse changes every year, making it a highly sought after item. All Australian Silver Koala Coins are Australian legal tender, carrying a face value of one Australian dollar.

The coin is available in 1 oz and 1 Kilo sizes; both versions come in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.

The 1 oz Australian Koala coin has a limited mintage of only 300,000. Meanwhile, the 1-kilo coin has no mintage limit. Each Silver Koala comes in a protective acrylic capsule and ships in new condition as received from the Perth Mint.
