The Return of the Morgan and Peace Dollars (2021–Present)

In 2021, to mark the 100th anniversary of the transition from Morgan to Peace Dollars, the U.S. Mint reintroduced both coins in .999 fine silver. These modern issues carry forward the artistry and symbolism of their predecessors while using advanced minting techniques for sharper detail and proof-like finishes.

The return was made possible by congressional legislation and met with overwhelming demand from collectors. Since 2023, the Mint has continued to issue updated Morgan and Peace Dollars annually, ensuring their legacy endures for new generations.
