1922-1935 Peace Silver Dollar Cull (Random Year)

Dealer’s Pick: the years may all be the same or vary.

Please note, coins may display flaws.

Cull coins are a smart way of investing in precious metals for anyone. This 1922-1935 Peace Silver Dollar Cull coin is one of a short line of rare, exclusive coins from the US as the last US silver dollar coin struck for circulation. One of the more appealing characteristics of the Peace Silver Dollar is the 90% silver content in them and its significant historical value. This series was shortlived because of the impact of WWI and the Great Depression, which only makes this coin rarer for your collection. This coin will add some fine US history to your collection. Buy yours from Bullion Exchanges today!

Many of the Morgan Silver Dollars were given to Great Britain to be melted down in support of the war effort. After the war, it was time to replace the Morgan Silver Dollars that were lost, and the US wanted to celebrate peace and its position in the world as a superpower for its design. This coin also completed the US coinage redesign that began in 1907.

The US victory in WWI inspired the design for the Peace Silver Dollar. This coin’s illustration is by Anthony de Francisci who, under time constraints for the design competition, had his wife model for his depiction of Lady Liberty. The obverse portrays this effigy of Lady Liberty looking to the left with her impressive crown atop her head. She is framed by inscriptions. The reverse features the bald eagle atop a rock with some leaves by its claws in addition to inscriptions.

Coin Features:

  • .900 pure silver with a weight of .7734 ozt
  • Dates will be chosen randomly
  • Cull condition (coins show significant wear)
  • Legal tender of the US Government
  • Face value of $1
  • Individual coin is in a protective plastic coin flip. Multiples of 20 are shipped in protective plastic tubes.
  • Obverse: profile portrait of Lady Liberty based on Teresa de Francisci. Inscriptions: “LIBERTY”, “IN GOD WE TRUST”, and the year
  • Reverse: Bald eagle perched upon a rock with leaves by its talons. Inscriptions” “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”, “E PLURIBUS UNUM”, “ONE DOLLAR”, and “PEACE”.

The 1922-1935 Peace Silver Dollar Cull coin may not have many significant rarities between each other, but this “date-and-mint” set is complete and among the most sought after by collectors. Bullion Exchanges is pleased to present these coins. For more historical US coins, take a look at our Silver Morgan Dollars and Kennedy Half Dollars.
