Struck at the West Point Mint, this limited-edition release contains 1/2 troy ounce of .9999 fine, 24-karat gold and carries a $50 denomination. The coin showcases Supergirl™ and Krypto™ through detailed Proof artwork and comes complete with its original U.S. Mint presentation box and numbered Certificate of Authenticity. The U.S. Mint developed its multi-year Comic Art Coin and Medal Program in collaboration with Warner Bros. First appearing in DC Comics in 1959, Supergirl is Kara Zor-El, Superman's Kryptonian cousin. Often known as the Woman of Tomorrow, Supergirl has grown into a major character within the DC universe.
For this 2026 release, the U.S. Mint presents Kara in two different scenes that emphasize her strength, determination, and connection with her loyal canine companion, Krypto.
