The reverse showcases a soaring eagle flanked by 13 stars with inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "E PLVRIBVS VNVM," and "QUARTER DOLLAR."
- Silver Medal Design: the obverse features Liberty extending olive branches to a distant eagle. Her shield displays 50 rivets for the states of the Union and 13 stripes for the original colonies. The reverse highlights a close-up of the olive branches now in the eagle’s talons, framed by 13 stars, with inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA."
