The obverse of the coin features a high-relief likeness of “Winged Liberty” designed by world-renowned designer Adolph A. Weinman. This same image was used on the obverse for the Mercury Dime, struck by the United States Mint from late 1916 to 1945. 

The reverse showcases a high-relief version of the 1907 American Institute of Architects Gold Medal reverse, which was also designed by the talented Weinman. In this image, a bald eagle stands on a rocky surface while grasping a branch in its beak.

• Reverse: Features a majestic eagle perched on a rock as it grasps a branch in its beak. Adolph Weinman also designed this striking image. Inscriptions: “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”, “$25”, “E PLURIBUS UNUM”, as well as the weight and purity of the coin.
