The V75 privy mark is the first privy mark to be showcased on Gold and American Silver Eagle coins. The “V” on the 1 oz Silver Eagle coin stands for “Victory,” and the “75” indicates the anniversary of WWII’s official end. Additionally, the privy mark is shaped like the Rainbow Pool in Washington DC, which was integrated into the World War II Memorial in 2004. The obverse of the Silver Eagle coin spotlights the 'Walking Liberty' design. Lady Liberty strides to the left side of the coin while reaching an arm towards the sunrise. Her other arm carries a bounty of olive and oak branches as the American flag waves around her shoulders. “LIBERTY” appears inscribed around the rim of the coin. Other inscriptions include the year of issue, “IN GOD WE TRUST”, and the V75 privy mark. 

The reverse of the WWII Silver Eagle contains the John Mercanti US National Coat of Arms. The heraldic bald eagle spreads its wings wide while clutching a bundle of arrows in one talon and an olive branch in the other. It also holds a banner in its beak that reads “E PLURIBUS UNUM”. On its chest is a shield emblazoned with the US flag. Thirteen stars shine above the eagle’s head to signify the original thirteen colonies. This is one of the last times the American Silver Eagle will bear this reverse design.

The eagle has a shield bearing the flag on its chest. Inscriptions: “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”, “IN GOD WE TRUST”, “E PLURIBUS UNUM”, West Point mintmark, and the weight and purity of the coin.
