The Mexican Silver Libertads are produced by La Casa de Moneda de Mexico, also known as the Mexican Mint. Initially established in 1535, this mint is impressively the oldest mint in all of North America.  However, the Mexican Libertad Silver Coin series was introduced many years later in 1982. As the interest surrounding these coins grew, the Mexican Mint diversified the Libertad’s sizes. Starting in 1991, they began releasing 1/20 oz, 1/10 oz1/4 oz, and 1/2 oz options. Then, five years later, the 2 oz and 5 oz Mexican Libertads were created to further expand the coin program to appease the high demand from collectors. The obverse showcases the Mexican Coat of Arms surrounded by the different national coats of arms used throughout Mexican history. The central image includes an eagle perched on a cactus with a snake in its beak and talon. The image sits inside a circular design. The reverse displays a rendition of the "El Ángel" or Angel of Independence, a monument built in 1910 to celebrate the beginning of Mexico's War of Independence. Victory, the Roman goddess- holds a laurel wreath in her outstretched right hand, signifying victory. In her left hand, she holds a broken chain depicting freedom. A backdrop of the Mexican landscape features two of Mexico’s most famous volcanoes, Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl.

All orders that total $250 or more require Signature Confirmation upon delivery. A tracking number is provided on all orders, you will receive e-mail confirmation that your order has been placed which will include the tracking number. Can I change my shipping address after I have placed an order?
We are unable to change any of the shipping details for credit/debit card orders. If payment is made by check or bank wire, we are able to change your address as long as the item has not yet been shipped.

All orders are fully insured by our insurance policy, however orders are only covered while in-transit. Coverage is terminated upon arrival of the package (marked as delivered or notice of signature from the carrier).

Bullion Exchanges will honor requests for refund or exchange, however you must contact the Exchanges Customer Service Department within 7 days of receiving the product. If you wish to exchange a product you may be required to submit photography or other documentation to process the exchange.
