This fantastic 2017 W 1 oz $100 American Liberty High Relief Proof Gold Coin PCGS PF 70 is the first in a series of 24-karat gold coins that features a design of an allegorical Liberty in a variety of contemporary forms-including designs representing Asian-Americans, Hispanic-Americans, Indian-American among others - to reflect the cultural and ethnic diversity of the United States. This is the first time than the portrait of Lady Liberty demonstrated as an African-American woman wearing a crown of stars.

The 2017 American Liberty 225^th Anniversary Gold Coin struck in .9999 fine 24-karat gold in high relief, with a proof finish. Minted in West Point facility this mint-issued coin was graded by PCGS as Proof Coin 70 - no imperfections under high magnification, a perfect coin within the first 30 days after official release. Coin is encapsulated and housed in a PCGS hold with a special Liberty Label.

The coin’s obverse designed by Justin Kunz and Phebe Hemphill showcases Liberty as an African-American woman completed with the inscriptions: “LIBERTY”, “1792”, “2017” and “IN GOD WE TRUST”. The coin’s reverse design features a bold and powerful eagle in flight, included inscriptions “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”, “E PLURIBUS UNUM”, “1OZ .9999 FINE GOLD” and “100 DOLLARS”.
