This 2017 1 oz Palladium American Eagle NGC MS 69 First Day of Issue introduces the first palladium coin in the US Mint American Eagle program.  For the first time in 20 years, the US Mint has used one of the rarest precious metals on the market to its worldwide beloved Eagle collection. The coin’s obverse design based on Adolph A Weinman’s Winged Liberty dime, which has also been called the Mercury dime, depicts a profile view of Lady Liberty with her hair tucked into a winged Phrygian cap. The reverse is based on the American Institute of Architects’ gold medal from 1907 and bears an eagle perched on a rock pulls at a laurel branch with its beak and talons.

This particular coin was graded by NGC as MS 69 - A fully struck coin with nearly imperceptible imperfections.
