Classic Disney animation lovers will love this new 2017 1 oz Niue Silver $2 Disney Steamboat Willie from the New Zealand Mint. “Steamboat Willie” is an American animated short film directed by Walt Disney and UB Iwerks. This black and white film was considered as a debut of Mickey Mouse and his girlfriend Minnie. Steamboat Willie is one of the most beloved cartoons of all time.

As legal tender of Niue, Ian Rank-Broadley’s effigy of Queen Elizabeth II graces the obverse of the two releases.
