This commemorative coin celebrates the San Francisco Old Mint building. Released on the 100th anniversary of the legendary 1906 San Francisco earthquake, the coin honors one of the few buildings that remained standing after the 1906 earthquake as well as saluting the proud minting tradition of the United States. This silver dollar, minted in 90% silver and containing 0.7734 troy oz of silver, has a diameter of 38.1 mm and a weight of 26.73 grams.
