This 1940 S Walking Liberty Half Dollar 90% Silver NGC MS 64 is a superb addition to any collection. The coin is certified by NGC as Mint State 64 and is made from 90% fine silver.

The obverse features the famous Walking Liberty design moving gracefully towards the future. The background shows a sun rising over the mountains. Inscriptions include "LIBERTY," and the year of mintage below.

The reverse displays a powerful American Eagle as it gazes confidently forward and ready to take flight with its wings open. It stands on the edge of the cliff with a sapling of mountain pine springing from a rift in the rock. Inscriptions include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and the denomination.
