The Saint-Gaudens double eagle is a twenty-dollar gold coin, or double eagle, produced by the United States Mint from 1907 to 1933. It is considered by many to be the most beautiful of U.S. coins. 

The coin weighs .9675 troy ounce, is struck in 90% fine gold, and exhibits the Motto "In God We Trust", like all Saint-Gaudens double eagles after 1908. Augustus Saint Gauden's famous Lady Liberty design graces the obverse, while a majestic eagle in flight fills the reverse of this coin.
