We're happy to offer this 1897 $10 Liberty Head Gold Eagle Coin PCGS AU 55 here at Bullion Exchanges. This coin comes graded by PCGS as AU 55, an excellent condition given the coin was produced over a century ago.
The obverse features a left sided bust of Lady Liberty, her hair loose and wearing a tiara. Encircling the rim are 13 stars along with the year of mintage.
The reverse side shows the American bald eagle with a patriotic shield on its chest, wings spread open for flight. Inscriptions include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," and the denomination.
