1798 A German States Prussia 1 Frederick D'or Gold NGC VF Details

Bullion Exchanges is pleased to present the 1798 A German States Prussia 1 Frederick D'or Gold. Originally issued from 1741 until 1855, the Friedrich d’Or was initially based on the Wilhelm d’Or, which was another Prussian coin bearing a royal moniker. Named after Frederick II of Prussia, the Friedrich d’Or is an obscure type of Prussian gold coin. It equals the same amount as five silver Reichsthalers, a standard Thaler silver coin of the Holy Roman Empire. Needless to say, this Prussian coin is hard to come across in modern times, which makes it a valuable collectible. It contains .9030 fine gold and weighs 0.194 troy oz. Additionally, this coin has been certified by NGCincreasing its collectibility. Order yours now!

The obverse features the bust of King Frederick William III of Prussia, surrounded by inscriptions.

The reverse shows an eagle with its trophies and the date inscribed below.
