The Story of the Shipwreck El Cazador:

In 1784, the Spanish brig El Cazador sailed from Veracruz to New Orleans carrying a large shipment of silver 8 Reales, or Pieces of Eight, intended to support the economy of Spanish Louisiana. The ship disappeared before reaching its destination and remained lost for more than two centuries.
