Tube of 10 - 2 oz Elemetal Shipwreck 1715 Treasure Fleet Silver Rounds Chest Set .999 Fine
The legendary wreck of the 1715 Spanish Treasure Fleet brings the Elemetal Shipwreck Series to its dramatic conclusion with this limited silver chest set. The Tube of 10 - 2 oz Elemetal Shipwreck 1715 Treasure Fleet Silver Rounds Chest Set .999 Fine contains 10 Ultra High Relief rounds, each struck from 2 troy ounces of .999 fine silver for a substantial 20 troy ounces of total silver. As the fourth and final release in Elemetal's four-part Shipwreck Series, the set commemorates one of history's most famous lost treasure fleets and comes housed in an individually numbered collector chest limited to just 999 sets worldwide.
The 1715 Treasure Fleet
In 1715, a Spanish fleet departed the Americas carrying silver, gold, and other valuable cargo destined for Spain. While traveling along Florida's Atlantic coast, the fleet encountered a powerful hurricane that drove multiple ships onto reefs and beaches, scattering treasure across the region.
Spanish recovery crews salvaged portions of the cargo, while additional treasure was later taken or recovered by others. Yet much remained undiscovered for centuries. Subsequent finds transformed Florida's coastline into the famous Treasure Coast and made the 1715 Fleet an enduring part of shipwreck and treasure-hunting history.
Limited Treasure Chest Presentation
The presentation was designed specifically for this final Shipwreck Series release. A sealed tube of 10 rounds rests inside a collector chest featuring horizontal bracketing and an individually engraved number from 1 through 999.
Inside, red felt, a matching red tube seal, and red crinkle-paper cushioning complement the treasure-chest theme. With only 999 complete numbered chest sets produced, the packaging itself becomes an important part of the collectible.
