Detailed Information:

When a coin is in a poor condition, it is called a cull coin. Usually cull coins have pits, bend, holes, scratches on them. They can also be coins that have been cleaned, retooled, or dark toned. The defining characteristic of a cull condition coin is one that has lost its numismatic value.

Depending on the coins color, luster, appearance, and the preservation of the structure, the cull coin can be differentiated as fair, basal, or poor state.

The cull coins maybe damaged, but they do not lose their inherent value. They still are precious metals and have their historical significance. They are a favorite for investors as they are precious metals that are available at very affordable premiums.

American silver eagles are an extremely popular investment grade bullion coins. They are highly recognizable and are easy to buy and sell. They come in a standard 1 oz size and are made of .999 fine silver. They are also given the legal tender status by the US Government.

The coins have one of the iconic designs displayed on them. They feature the Walking Liberty design by Adolph A. Weinman on the obverse, and the reverse sports the heraldic eagle by John Mercanti.

They could be expensive in their pristine condition, but for those on a budget or those who are not interested in the condition of the coins but interested only in the silver content, the cull American Silver Eagles are the best option to add silver into their investment portfolio. When bought in bulk of 20 or more, the premiums would be even lower.
