The 2018 1 oz Gold American Eagle showcases the worldwide known Augustus Saint-Gaudens Lady Liberty design. This design first showcased on the $20 gold piece issued between 1907 and 1933. This image shows Lady Liberty. She is confidently walking forward and holding a torch in her right hand. Also, she holds an olive branch in her left. She is against a backdrop of the Capitol Building and the rising sun. The reverse holds a Miley Busiek design. The reverse depicts a bald eagle clutching an olive branch. He is above a nest containing his mate and hatchlings. This coin is available in 1/10, ¼, ½, and 1 oz size options. It is a legal tender of the United States. 
Silver American Eagle
The 2018 1 oz Silver American Eagle depicts one of the most elegant and famous American images – the Walking Liberty. Adolph A. Weinman was responsible for the creation of this design. The design started with half dollar coins between 1916 and 1947. This beautiful artwork presents the finest traditions of the Nation: freedom, equality, and patriotism.
