Why Should You Buy Goldbacks?

There are many reasons to invest in Goldback Notes. The main reason, it can be argued, is to protect against regular inflation. Since the Goldback is made from actual gold, it is designed to maintain its value over time. Second, it provides a safeguard against identity theft/online hacking. The Goldback eludes any digital risk, as it is a physical product that carries intrinsic value. Lastly, Natural Disasters such as EMPs and solar flares present a threat to electrical grids across the US, which could impact credit transactions if power goes down. During that time, the Goldback would be a feasible physical alternative.

The obverse/front of the Goldback depicts the personification of “Libertas/Liberty”. The tall, long-haired woman stepped over a downed tree while holding arrows in one hand and a flag in the other. The flag featured the words “An Appeal to God” and “LIBERTAS”. Words sewn into the hem of her dress read “Vis Unita Fortior” which translates to “Strength United is Stronger”. White-tailed Deer peer out from the woods behind her.

The reverse/back of the Goldback displays a negative image of the front illustration. This serves as a security feature to better protect the New Hampshire Goldbacks from counterfeiting attempts.

Back to the Beginning: A Brief History of the Goldback

Jeremy Cordon, now the president of Goldback, Inc., first conceived the idea for these innovative gold bills in 2019. After developing his novel idea further with business partner Chris Jensen, the first Goldbacks were manufactured by printing company Valaurum. The decision to showcase the “lady virtues” on the notes was made because Jeremy and Chris believed these virtues “are fundamental to the peace and prosperity we enjoy and are the cornerstone of western civilization.”
