At Bullion Exchanges, we are thrilled to offer you our latest sensation - this outstanding 3 oz Silver Russian Warrior Middle Ages .999 Fine Silver - Art of War Series. This silver cast figurine is made of slightly over 3 oz. of .925 silver sterling and represents a Russian Warrior from the Kulikovo battle of 1380, making it an excellent addition for history fans and enthusiasts!

The battle of Kulikovo was fought between the armies of the Golden Horde, commissioned by Mamai, and several Russian principalities commanded by Prince Dmitri of Moscow. The battle took place near the Don River, on the Kulikovo field, on September 8, 1380. Prince Dmitri won the Kulikovo battle and, although it didn’t end the Mongol domination over Russia, it is well known as a turning point towards Muscovite independence and the formation of the modern Russian state. It is believed that this battle was won thanks to the joint actions of cavalry and infantry, which used various weapons, such as bows and arrows, sabers, battle-axes, swords, spears, maces, and daggers.
