Lady Liberty walks towards the setting sun with oak and laurel branches in her left arm, while reaching out her right arm towards the horizon. The American flag is draped over her shoulders. 

The reverse of the 2023 Silver Eagle presents the design by AIP (Artist Infusion Program) member Emily Damstra. Artist Michael Gaudioso brought her vision to life. A majestic bald eagle prepares to land, its wings open wide to slow its movement. The eagle carries an oak branch in its talons to fortify its nest.
