2022 (W) 1 oz Silver American Eagle $1 Coin PCGS MS 69 First Strike (West Point)

Please note, this coin does NOT display the "W" mint mark.

Bullion Exchanges is excited to offer the new 2022 1 oz Silver American Eagle $1 Coin. This iconic American coin contains .999 fine silver and weighs 1 troy ounce. This Silver Eagle coin will not bear the “W” mint mark because only Proof and Burnished Silver Eagles feature the West Point W. However, the special West Point Mint label from PCGS has denoted that this is a West Point Silver Eagle. This greatly enhances the coin’s collector appeal, in addition to its almost-perfect MS 69 grade! Additionally, the FS (First Strike) designation certifies the coin was purchased within the first 30 days of its release. Interested investors will want to snatch up this 2022 1 oz Silver American Eagle $1 Coin to add a bit of historic value to their portfolios!

First minted in 1986, the American Eagle Series is manufactured in silver, gold, platinum, and palladium variations. Last year, for the 35th anniversary of the coin’s initial release, the US Mint announced a redesign of the reverse for the American Gold and Silver Eagles. This 2022 Silver Eagle features the new reverse design by artist Emily Damstra, a member of the US Mint’s Artistic Infusion Program (AIP).

The obverse displays Adolph A. Weinman’s historic “Walking Liberty” design. Lady Liberty marches towards the sunset with oak and laurel branches cradled in her left arm while extending her right arm to the horizon. The American flag is draped over her shoulders.

The reverse presents the new design by AIP member Emily Damstra, brought to life by sculptor Michael Gaudioso. A majestic bald eagle prepares to land, its wings open wide to slow its movement. The eagle carries an oak branch in its talons.
