2021 (W) 1 oz Silver American Eagle Type 2 PCGS MS 69 FS (West Point)
*Please Note: Some U.S. Mint coins may display what are known as “milky spots.” These cloudy, white-toned patches are a natural result of the Mint’s production process and can appear even on brand-new, Uncirculated coins. While they may affect the visual appearance, they do not impact the coin’s silver authenticity or intrinsic value. Collectors and investors should be aware that milky spots are a common characteristic of modern bullion issues and are considered normal rather than a defect.
This coin was produced by the West Point Mint but does not carry the "W" mintmark. Also, this listing is for the 2021 Silver American Eagle with the New Reverse Design.

The American Eagle coins began in 1986, and it was so named for its famous reverse design. However, the name still befits this lovely American Silver Eagle because the reverse continues to spotlight the bald eagle. For the 35th anniversary, the US Mint created a new reverse for the American Gold and Silver Eagles. This major change arose because, according to law, the Treasury can only change the design of a coin once within a certain timespan. Therefore, the US Mint meticulously created this new reverse as well as new security features such as the anti-counterfeit reeded edge and a modified version of the obverse. The reeded edge looks like appears like a “gap” variation in the coin’s edge. Additionally, the obverse has been further modified to more closely resemble the original Adolph A Weinman “Walking Liberty” design used on the 1916-1947 silver half dollar. However, the platinum and palladium American Eagle will not be changed at this time.
The obverse maintains the Adolph A Weinman “Walking Liberty” design with restored elements including Weinman's initials, the year of mintage font, as well as minor details for Liberty's eye, bonnet, flag, and the solar rays. In the picture, Lady Liberty heads toward the setting sun. She carries oak and laurel branches in her left arm and outstretches her right arm to the rising sun. The American flag is draped over her shoulders.
The new reverse design of the Type 2 Silver Eagle coin bears a flying American bald eagle with an oak branch secure in its talons. Inscriptions border the eagle including the country, weight, purity, denomination, and the US motto “E Pluribus Unum”.
