The obverse of the coin carries a roaring bear hanging its claw over the edge of a bar. A virus supports the bar in the center, which you can see on both sides of the coin. This virus serves to symbolize the impact of the world health crisis on the market since it “tipped the scales,” sending certain industries soaring with success while others slumped into the bear market territory. The virus also emphasizes the nature of how a bear market moves downward since the bear is at the lower end of the bar. A scale, downward pointing arrow, stack of coins, and face mask lie in the background. Republique du Tchad’s Coat of Arms, designed into the coin’s border, sits in the bear's paw at the top between outlines of a bull and a bear. The inscriptions of the border contain the country of issue, year, and face value.
The reverse of this exclusive silver coin showcases a fierce bull. It sits at the top of the bar, scowling in the direction of the bear.
