Officially known as 431 Air Demonstration Squadron, The Snowbirds are the Royal Canadian Air Force’s military aerobatics flight demonstration team. World-renowned for their precision and skill, these planes perform thrilling aerobatics over inspirational background music. Formed in 1971, The Snowbirds were the first Canadian air demonstration team to be designated as a squadron. Their first performance was on July 11th, 1971 at their home base of CFB Moose Jaw during the Homecoming Air Show, and they are still going strong today.
