These Emergency Production American Eagle silver bullion coins do not carry a P-mintmark, but these limited-edition coins are labeled as Emergency Production coins with a special NGC retro graded label. The silver coins carry a face value of $1 and are made from 1 oz of .999 fine silver. These American Eagle silver bullion coins were graded a near-perfect MS 69 with an Early Release designation from NGC. You can’t go wrong with American Eagle silver bullion coins, so purchase yours today before these sell out!

Why buy American Silver Eagles? Beginning in 1986, the American Eagle Series was highly sought after by coin collectors. This is because it was the first US bullion coin series since FDR outlawed private possession of precious metals during the Great Depression. The American Eagle silver bullion coins continue to be one of the most popular annual purchases for portfolios internationally. Produced by the US Mint and backed by the US government, Silver Eagle coins also make a great first buy for anyone beginning to collect bullion coins

If you’re still wondering why you should buy American Silver Eagles, consider that these coins are among the most popular in the world. On top of that, these coins now feature a limited special Philadelphia Mint Emergency Production Silver Eagle coins line, making for what could be a once-in-a-lifetime bullion coin to invest in.

The obverse of this coin bears the original 1916 Adolph  A. Weinman “Walking Liberty” illustration first seen on the American silver half dollars from the early 1900s. In the design, Lady Liberty strides to the left side of the American Eagle silver bullion coin. Her right arm reaches towards the rising sun and the American flag waves behind her. She also carries olive and oak branches in her left arm.

The Silver Eagle coins’ reverse displays the updated John Mercanti design of the US national coat of arms. In his illustration, a bald eagle with outstretched wings is the centerpiece of the picture. This heraldic eagle carries arrows in one talon and an olive branch in the other to signify the “strength through peace” ideology of the US. The eagle also clutches a banner in its beak that says “E PLURIBUS UNUM”. On the eagle’s chest is a shield emblazoned with the US flag. Finally, thirteen stars lie above the eagle’s head as a nod to the original thirteen colonies.

  • Reverse: Displays the US national coat of arms. Here, a bald eagle clutches an olive branch in its right talons and arrows in its left. 13 small stars fly above the eagle, representing the original colonies. The eagle has a shield bearing the flag on its chest. Inscriptions include the weight, purity, denomination, and country’s name around the rim. An updated design by John Mercanti.
