2020 (P) 1 oz Silver American Eagle NGC MS 70 FDOI (Retro) Emergency Production

Please note this coin was produced by the Philadelphia Mint but does not carry the "P" mint mark.

The US Mint was forced to temporarily close the West Point and San Francisco Mint facilities during the coronavirus pandemic. To keep up with high demand, approximately 240,000 of the 2020 American Eagle silver bullion coins were struck by the Philadelphia Mint instead of the West Point Mint. Although these coins lack a Philadelphia mintmark, these coins are still specially certified and designated as Emergency Production silver eagles. Additionally, these special edition coins carry a face value of $1 and are made from 1 oz of .999 fine silver. Furthermore, NGC graded these American Eagle silver bullion coins a perfect MS 70 with a First Day of Issue designation and have a special NGC retro label. These American Eagle silver bullion coins are possibly a once-in-a-lifetime investment opportunity. Order your 2020 (P) 1 oz Silver American Eagle Emergency Production NGC MS 70 FDOI (Retro) from Bullion Exchanges today before these fly off the shelves for good!

Why buy American Silver Eagles? Beginning in 1986, the American Eagle Series was highly sought after by coin collectors as the first US bullion coin series since FDR outlawed private possession of precious metals during the Great Depression. The American Eagle silver bullion coins continue to be one of the most popular annual purchases for portfolios. Produced by the US Mint and backed by the US government, these coins also make a great first buy for anyone beginning to collect bullion coins

If you’re still wondering why you should buy American Silver Eagles, consider that these coins are among the most popular in the world. On top of that, these coins now feature a limited special coronavirus emergency production line, making for a once in a lifetime bullion coin for your collection.

The obverse of this coin bears the original 1916 Adolph  A. Weinman “Walking Liberty” illustration first seen on the American silver half dollars from the early 1900s. In the design, Lady Liberty strides to the left side of the American Eagle silver bullion coin. Her right arm reaches towards the rising sun and the American flag waves behind her. She also carries olive and oak branches in her left arm.

The American Eagle silver bullion coin’s reverse displays the updated John Mercanti design of the US national coat of arms. In his illustration, a bald eagle with outstretched wings is the centerpiece of the picture. This heraldic eagle carries arrows in one talon and an olive branch in the other to signify the “peace through strength” ideology of the US. The eagle also clutches a banner in its beak that says “E PLURIBUS UNUM”. On the eagle’s chest is a shield emblazoned with the US flag. Finally, thirteen stars lie above the eagle’s head as a nod to the original thirteen colonies.
