The obverse mimics the 2004 Silver Panda, with a mother and its cub walking together. The reverse honors Pittsburgh, the planned location for the canceled 2020 ANA Show.

The medal has received a PF 70 grade from the NGC, which stands for Proof 70. This is the highest grade possible for a proof medal and indicates that it is in perfect condition with no visible flaws or imperfections. The coin is also designated as FDOI, which stands for the First Day of Issue, indicating that it was one of the first coins struck by the mint and is therefore highly sought after by collectors.
