She strides forward, her draped clothing gently blowing in the breeze, with the US Capitol and a bright sunrise in the background. Small stars encircle the outer edge of the coin.  

The reverse of the Gold Eagle was designed by sculptor Miley Busiek and showcases a majestic male bald eagle about to land in his nest, where his mate and hatchling are waiting. The male eagle grasps an olive branch in its talons.
