2019-S 1 oz Proof Silver American Eagle PCGS PF 69 DCAM First Strike

Part of the newest Silver Eagles released by the US Mint, this 2019-S 1 oz Proof Silver American Eagle PCGS PF 69 is currently available for purchase from Bullion Exchanges! These Silver American Eagles bear the “S” mint mark instead of the West Point Mint “W” since they were minted in San Francisco. Silver Eagle minted at the San Francisco facility are less common than Eagles minted at West Point, making them a favored silver eagle variation for coin collectors. The respected grading service PCGS certified this Silver Eagle a near-perfect PF 69, making this American Eagle a desirable addition to your silver portfolio!

In 1986 the US Mint began producing Silver American Eagles and continue to release these silver coins every year. These silver eagles contain 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver, which explains why they are sought-after items among coin collectors. These 2019 Eagles were struck with a special Proof finish, which adds to the eye appeal of the coin. These silver coins have an extra level of beauty, as they are graded DCAM (Deep Cameo), meaning their shine is even more pronounced.

The obverse of the Silver Eagle is easily recognized by coin enthusiasts everywhere. This beautiful design by Adolph Weinman shows Lady Liberty walking forward with a purposeful stride towards the beautiful rising sun. Large branches of laurel and oak are cradled in her left arm, while her right arm is outstretched in front of her. A large US Flag, blowing in the gentle breeze, envelops Lady Liberty as she walks.

Featured on the reverse of the coin, the well-known design by John Mercanti was inspired by the Great Seal of the United States. A heraldic eagle with wings outstretched rests behind a shield. The words “E Pluribus Unum” are written on a long ribbon grasped in the sharp beak of the eagle who is also clutching arrows and an olive branch in its talons.
